City/State Norfolk, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible for performing competent nursing care as demonstrated by the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, care coordination, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation. The RN adheres to standards of practice and professional performance, including ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, quality, resource utilization, and environmental health.
