Our London based client is looking for a skilled System Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful System Administrator will manage and support the organisations modern cloud-first infrastructure, with a focus on endpoint management, cloud services, automation, and end-user support. This role will be instrumental in maintaining system reliability, ensuring security compliance, and enhancing operational efficiency across their IT environment.

The System Administrator will join a small but efficient team, having the ability to be involved with project work such as W11 roll out, roll out of Intune and working towards Cyber Essentials plus.

Experience / Skills
  • Experience of managing and provisioning user endpoints using Windows Autopilot and Microsoft Intune, ensuring secure configurations and compliance with internal policies.
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator, particularly in environments leveraging:
  • Windows Autopilot
  • Microsoft Intune
  • Microsoft 365 / Office 365
  • Windows OS (desktop and server)
  • Experience of administering Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams to support seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Experience of developing and maintaining automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI).
  • Experience of working closely with the Information Security teams to support system audits, compliance checks, and reporting requirements.
  • Experience of monitoring and maintaining cloud infrastructure performance, focusing on Azure and OCI.
  • Solid understanding of endpoint security, compliance configurations, and cloud service best practices.
  • Experience of managing and optimising cloud backup and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Experience of providing 1st / 2nd line support by responding to Service Desk tickets and addressing system issues raised by internal users.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • MD-102: Microsoft Endpoint Administrator
    • AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator
    • Familiarity with OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) is a plus.
