We are searching for a Head of IFS Technical Delivery to play a pivotal role in establishing and leading our client’s new Centre of Excellence for IFS Cloud. This is a unique opportunity to join at the beginning of this initiative, shaping the function, guiding a growing team, and driving the technical roadmap for IFS and its surrounding technologies.
In this leadership role, you will oversee the architecture, delivery framework, and technical integrity of the IFS Cloud environment. You will also act as a guardian of cybersecurity and platform reliability while providing management guidance to your team. Although this is not a hands-on technical role, your technical expertise will be crucial for mentoring and guiding your team to ensure successful delivery.
Responsibilities
- Define, shape, and lead the new Centre of Excellence for IFS Cloud.
- Develop and maintain the technical roadmap for IFS Cloud and surrounding technologies.
- Oversee the architectural framework and ensure the technical integrity of the IFS Cloud system.
- Act as a guardian of cybersecurity across IFS platforms and ensure best practices are upheld.
- Lead a team of 3–4 direct reports and a wider team of indirect reports.
- Provide management guidance and technical oversight to ensure effective delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and align technical solutions accordingly.
- Define and maintain delivery frameworks for code and cloud environments.
- Continuously improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of IFS Cloud solutions.
- Support the team in adhering to organisational and technical governance policies.
