Irtec Assessor

Motus Commercials is the largest DAF Trucks Dealer Group in Europe and the largest Independent Commercial Vehicle Dealer Group in the UK and we are on the lookout for a fully skilled Irtec Assessor. As our new assessor, you will join our friendly team at our Manchester dealership which will see you working:

One day per week, days/hours to be discussed at interview

Salary – £16.75 per hour

As an Irtec Assessor at Motus Commercials inManchester we will be looking for you to be able to demonstrate:

• Minimum 5 years automotive experience
• 2 years Assessing experience
• Organised & competent record keeper
  Assessors should have a good working knowledge of the Vehicle Inspection techniques and the current DVSA Inspection manual
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Main Duties will be

Coordination and delivery of Irtec technical assessments of internal HGV Technicians, ensure industry legislative requirements are met.

• Register candidates with the Institute of Motor Industry
• Administration to request certification of the candidate
• Liaise with candidates to ensure they are fully informed of the inspection process, ensuring support is provided to make them comfortable and at ease
• Provide feedback as required to candidates
• Assessors must ensure that their technical knowledge is kept up to date to the level they wish to assess through Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
