Position Summary
We are currently seeking a full-time Kindergarten Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a genuine love for young learners, a strong Christian faith, and a passion for helping children grow both academically and spiritually. RLCA teachers are responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and Christ-honouring classroom environment where students can thrive in every area of their development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with RLCA standards and biblical values
- Create a positive, structured, and loving classroom environment
- Differentiating lessons to meet a variety of learning needs and styles
- Monitor and assess student progress and communicate effectively with families
- Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to support school-wide goals
- Serve as a Christian role model in speech, conduct, and lifestyle
- Participate in school functions, staff development, and team meetings
Qualifications
- Must be a committed follower of Jesus Christ
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (required)
- Teaching certificate (preferred)
- CPR certification (preferred)
- Prior experience in early childhood or elementary education is a plus
- Passionate about Christian education and student discipleship
- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
