Design Engineer - High Voltage

This is a full time role with our global client.

Summary –

You will be responsible for co-ordinating the design for projects delivered within High Voltage Service, ensuring that designs are delivered on time, in line with customer requirements and to a high standard. You will require experience and expertise of leading engineering projects, preferably within the power sector—specifically within High Voltage.

Responsibilities –

• Proactive technical and design management of projects from start to final sign off
• Drive customer satisfaction by maintaining high quality standards in all aspects of the service delivery
• Take a lead in design reviews & project meetings for the technical and design aspects of the project
• Manage customer expectations of the overall service offering, product and portfolio
• Collaborate with our suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure a high quality, the design meets requirements and address any issues as they arise to deliver a swift resolution
• Mark up detailed design drawings and update when required
• Have an awareness of scope of works and the contractual agreements in place and highlight any scope changes, any risks and cost optimizations

Experience/education –

• Engineering degree either electrical or mechanical.
• Experience leading the design of engineering projects, preferably within transmission/ distribution
• Good capability on Microsoft office software packages and AutoCAD
