This is a full time role with our global client.

Summary - You will be responsible for co-ordinating the design for projects delivered within High Voltage Service, ensuring that designs are delivered on time, in line with customer requirements and to a high standard. You will require experience and expertise of leading engineering projects, preferably within the power sector—specifically within High Voltage.

Responsibilities -

  • Proactive technical and design management of projects from start to final sign off.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by maintaining high quality standards in all aspects of the service delivery.
  • Take a lead in design reviews and project meetings for the technical and design aspects of the project.
  • Manage customer expectations of the overall service offering, product and portfolio.
  • Collaborate with our suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure a high quality design meets requirements and address any issues as they arise to deliver a swift resolution.
  • Mark up detailed design drawings and update when required.
  • Have an awareness of scope of works and the contractual agreements in place and highlight any scope changes, risks and cost optimizations.

Experience/education - Engineering degree either electrical or mechanical. Experience leading the design of engineering projects, preferably within transmission/distribution. Good capability on Microsoft Office software packages and AutoCAD.
