Overview
Systems Test Engineer – Mass Spectrometry – Join a dedicated team of test engineers at our innovative facility in Wilmslow, working within a LEAN‑focused New Product Operations group. This role offers direct experience with Waters instruments and excellent career progression opportunities within the company.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the timely delivery of Mass Spectrometry systems to meet customer requirements and quarterly targets.
- Complete performance test specifications on a range of Mass Spectrometers.
- Identify failures of performance specifications, diagnose and resolve underlying causes.
- Participate in the development and continuous improvement of working practices and processes within the department.
- Contribute to the development of prototype instruments through pilot production to mainstream manufacture.
- Display a flexible, proactive approach and be willing to work overtime as required to achieve output objectives.
Qualifications
- A degree in a science or engineering subject, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to problem‑solve in an engineering or scientific environment.
