A highly regarded, award-winning specialist engineering contractor focusing on delivering Mission Critical Projects across various sectors is currently seeking an ambitious and driven Construction Manager for a high-profile Data Centre project in Frankfurt. Ideally, candidates will have experience working as a Construction Manager on large-scale industrial projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to bolster your resume by working on one of the company’s flagship projects.

Ideally, the successful Construction Manager will have general contracting/main contracting experience with a proven track record in data centre, industrial, or mission-critical projects from cradle to grave.

Construction Manager Responsibilities:
  • Management of all day-to-day site operations
  • Management of subcontractor activities, including tracking progress against schedule and staffing levels
  • Ensure that there are weekly minute meetings with subcontractors
  • Ensure direct labour hours and sub-contractor hours are reported to the time administrator for tracking centrally
  • Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings
  • Ensure your team contributes to the internal weekly progress report rolled up from the project supervisors' report
  • Review the weekly progress report before it is issued to all stakeholders. Highlight areas not available, delays, design issues and third-party delays
  • Record weekly safety stats & project labour projections
  • Develop and implement company procedures with the package managers
Construction Manager Requirements:
  • A trade background and 5 - 7 years of previous experience managing large projects and sub-contractors
  • Experienced in design and building
  • Excellent technical knowledge and ability to work well within strict deadlines
