Brand new opportunity for an Inside Sales Account Manager to join our commercial sales team. This is predominantly a desk-based role – 80% of your time will involve developing an existing account base of smaller customers, building deeper knowledge of their needs, and identifying opportunities to sell a broader range of Sharp products. The remaining 20% will focus on identifying and winning new accounts. You will work as part of a dynamic, collaborative team of technology professionals, taking a consultative and customer-centric approach to ensure positive interactions and outcomes. The role is based at the Wakefield office (WF3 2EE) with hybrid working arrangements – 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. Salary, commission, and benefits are included. The role
- Work collaboratively to maximize sales opportunities and enhance customer experience.
- Achieve and surpass sales targets and KPIs aligned with sales objectives.
- Identify decision makers and stakeholders to understand procurement processes, and record this information in CRM.
- Demonstrate USPs that differentiate Sharp from competitors and align with customer needs.
- Support account managers throughout the sales process.
- Assist in delivering and following up on email campaigns, aiming to close sales or secure appointments.
- Arrange stakeholder-level appointments for account managers or yourself as appropriate.
- Drive new business opportunities through campaigns, account management, and growth within existing smaller customers.
- Generate and qualify leads, and close opportunities.
- Process sales orders accurately and timely.
- Maintain up-to-date customer records and sales processes in CRM, with accurate forecasts.
- Utilize LinkedIn and other social platforms to connect with potential customers and promote content.
- Participate actively in sales meetings, including 1-2-1 sessions and regional team meetings.
Person specification
- Experience in Sales, Account Management, Business Development, or Telesales.
- Experience dealing with the commercial, corporate, or education sectors.
- Ideally, background in IT or technology sales.
- Proven success in an activity-driven sales environment.
- Understanding of how and why workplace technology and IT products are used.
- Experience with CRM systems and their role in sales.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience in proposal writing and presenting solutions.
