PR Account Director – PR Specialist Agency

Leeds – hybrid

£45k – £55k DOE

I am proud to be working alongside a PR Specialist agency to appoint a senior figurehead into their growing team.

About the Company:

An agency founded by people who have worked in PR across traditional, digital and content who have amassed success across property, healthcare, leisure and FMCG.

The focus is on keeping the brand genuine. They aren\’t looking to rapidly expand their headcount if it is going to lose sight of the excellent work that they can do.

A real advantage for this agency is its relative infancy in the marketplace, meaning they are the freshest, most forward thinking PR agency that others in the marketplace have already started to contend with!

About you:

You will have at least 5-7 years under your belt when it comes to PR. You may be in a Senior Account Manager role and looking for the next step or you may be in a Team Lead / Account Director role already but want to take on a bigger challenge.

Ideally, you will have strong knowledge of SEO and how SEO and Digital PR work hand in hand. You will be able to lead from the front and inspire the team on how to work on this cross collaboratively. Preferably, you will have an understanding and knowledge of the data and analysis side of things such as CRO for example.

The reason that you will be looking for a move is to be part of something new and exciting and covering new ground – you may come from a Media agency background or an integrated agency where you have had cross-collaboration between internal teams on a daily basis. You may have experience in a smaller, more specialist agency or even in house but feel like there has always been something missing,

Your sights are set on being a Head of or Director of a PR team in the next few years and you will be very passionate about the work you do and inspiring your team.

Responsibilities:

You will be the final pair of eyes on any work that leaves the agency to go out on behalf of the client so excellent and demonstrable experience across content, copywriting and proofreading is a must.

Day to day will involve a lot of overarching strategy and ensuring that the team are working on the right projects and working to deliverables – but to do that you must lead from the front and be prepared to help on the activation piece if required.

Your communication skills will be at the forefront of all of your work and providing feedback to junior members of the team / SLT will be something you will be doing on a daily basis.

This is one of many jobs here at ThePlaceToBe so if you\’re interested in having a chat about your next career move, get in touch!
