Job Purpose: Receipting of samples – Booking into Alpha/Labware. Preparation, grinding, and rolling of samples.
Main Duties:
- Preparation and grinding/rolling of all soil samples. Full training will be provided.
- Preparing and weighing different sample matrices.
- Receipting samples on Alpha system.
- Rotating and disposing of stored retained samples.
- Prioritising workload daily based on post/courier arrival dates.
- Understanding and following Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintaining equipment, vehicles, and PPE cleanliness to uphold Cawood's credibility.
- Respecting and properly using company equipment and vehicles, reporting damages promptly.
- Working as part of a team, supporting colleagues, and maintaining morale.
- Ensuring safety at all times, reporting accidents and near misses immediately.
