Job Characteristics
- Oversee various aspects and inputs of the production process.
- Analyze historical shipment and POS data to help predict future demand.
- Collaborate with sales team and supporting functions to better understand forecast influencers, like promotions, new locations, and product launches.
- Work closely with General Manager and master planning to properly plan and schedule work to cover demand.
- This includes work orders and assisting with implementing Lynq for Basque Production.
- Assist in determining capacity at Mayhew facilities to properly plan work to the floor and assist with approving new demand.
- Assist with leveraging the power of MRP at our facilities, which includes understanding and, in some cases, developing or modifying the inputs.
- Work with Master Planner and Operations to develop and/or implement reporting that can be used to digest the planning and make educated decisions.
- Also critical to measure internal performance by implementing reporting as it relates to forecast accuracy.
- Help track and prepare execution of major events by working closely with Operations and production while providing weekly updates that include risk evaluation.
- Facilitate communication between departments to ensure that production plans align with sales forecasts.
- Assist the General Manager in Westminster facility with his costing models, which are the inputs to the BOMS and routings.
- Conduct Monthly Inventory on resin, colorant, bags, boxes and labels.
- Conduct Monthly Inventory on semifinished goods.
- Responsible for transacting and physical movement of materials from semifinished to finished goods.
- Ensure all safety standards are followed, maintain positive employee relations and adhere to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.

Required Skills
- Strong technical, engineering and manufacturing background
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Familiar with ERP system (Macola)
- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Written and verbal English communication skills

Required Education/Experience
- Associate’s degree in business, Engineering or Supply Chain Management preferred, BS a plus
- 3-5 years in Procurement use of MRP systems in a manufacturing company preferred
- Experience in scheduling, forecast management and production control beneficial
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication, technical and project management skills
Preferred Skills
- Three to Five years’ experience in Manufacturing Planning
- Valid driver’s license a plus
