We have a full-time position available from September 2025 to provide engaging sports and PE sessions to students across the key stage 3/4 curriculum. This role is expected to become permanent for the right applicant and is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the learning pathway of students within your care and support them to build confidence and resilience across a range of sports activities.
The Grammar School based in the Otley area of Leeds (LS21) are proud to offer a vibrant, supportive and inclusive place of learning, where staff and students feel empowered to thrive! We welcome applications from ECT's and experienced Teachers, you can expect to earn up to £230 per day for this role dependent on experience.
The successful candidate will have:
- Successful teaching of PE & Sport at GSCE and A Level
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Ability to enthuse and motivate students
- Excellence as a practitioner in PE and Sport
Essential Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
