We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join my HealthTech clients engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our applications. You will work closely with software engineers and data scientists to streamline our development and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process.
  • Maintain and optimize Azure-based cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager templates.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system security and compliance.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and provide infrastructure solutions.
  • Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Implement and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
  • Proficiency with Azure cloud services and infrastructure management.
  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
  • Strong scripting skills in languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the healthcare or healthtech industry.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Familiarity with database management, particularly PostgreSQL.
