The Role… As a Senior Event Manager, you will lead the planning and delivery of multiple projects simultaneously. Depending on the project, you may take ownership of entire events or lead specific components as part of a larger project team. You’ll also have line management responsibility for one or more Event Executives, supporting their development and performance. This position is ideal for an experienced event professional with a proven track record in managing events and exhibitions from concept through to delivery. You will collaborate closely with internal teams—including Production and Creative—as well as with external partners, to design and execute events that meet and exceed client expectations. Reporting to an Event Director, you will be accountable for all aspects of event delivery across both UK and international markets. You’ll be expected to ensure events are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard, contributing to the overall success of the team and client satisfaction.

  • Work with clients on developing strategic objectives for events and ensure they are monitored and met.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive event planning tools (timelines, budgets (ÂŁ100-ÂŁ500k+), risk registers, run sheets etc).
  • Effective budget management and reconciliation, in line with business objectives and client expectations.
  • Demonstrating strong commercial awareness.
  • Client relationships – develop and maintain good client relationships.
  • Understand the importance of working collaboratively with other teams within the agency (Production, Creative, Exhibitions).
  • Negotiation and management of 3rd party suppliers.
  • Lead project calls and meetings.
  • Occasional on-site event delivery in the UK and overseas.
  • Some flexibility with working hours, including weekends and evenings as required.
  • Manage event projects from conception through to completion.
  • Have a good understanding of the client’s business.
  • Creating management plans and technical run sheets for use on-site.
  • Work with the Event Director and Resource Manager to ensure projects are resourced effectively.
  • Health & Safety and security management – working closely with specialists as required.
  • VIP & VVIP management including Royalty, Ministers, C-suite delegates and talent as required.

The Person… You have demonstrated experience in delivering events at Event Manager or Senior Event Manager level, across a variety of event types and client sectors. You are a clear and confident communicator who collaborates effectively with colleagues and builds strong relationships with clients. You’re comfortable navigating challenging conversations—for example, discussing project scope or timelines—to help protect agency time, quality, and outcomes. You demonstrate sound judgment and stay composed under pressure, making informed decisions when needed. You are highly organised and capable of managing multiple events at different stages of the planning and delivery cycle.

What you can expect: Let’s start with the practical stuff: 25 days’ holiday (rising to 29 after two years), a company pension, cycle-to-work scheme, and a discount platform that saves you money on everything from your weekly shop to your gym membership. We’re flexible where it counts. Start your day between 8am and 10am and wrap up accordingly. We have wellness afternoons - a few hours of protected “me time” to spend doing whatever you need to recharge. And there’s more; early Friday finishes in the summer, proper time off at Christmas, seasonal socials, and a medical plan that pays cashback on things like dental, glasses and physio. You’ll also get access to a 24/7 GP hotline and wellbeing support service. Know someone great? Refer them for a job here and we’ll say thanks with a finder’s fee.
