Position Overview:

We are seeking a Creative Copywriter to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for strategic writing, an understanding of the higher education landscape, and the ability to craft compelling and engaging copy that resonates with diverse audiences. You will play a vital role in developing impactful content across various channels to help our clients achieve their marketing objectives and enhance their brand presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand project objectives, target audience, and brand voice.
  • Build upon creative concepts, messaging strategies, and content plans
  • Write clear, concise, and persuasive copy for a wide range of marketing materials, including websites, landing pages, campaigns, social media posts, advertisements, and promotional materials.
  • Conduct research to gather information and insights on industry trends, competitor strategies, and audience preferences to inform content development and messaging strategies.
  • Adapt writing style and tone to suit the unique characteristics and objectives of each client, maintaining brand consistency and voice across all communications.
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the creative and marketing teams to develop integrated campaigns that effectively communicate key messages and drive engagement.
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines before finalizing deliverables for client review and approval.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in copywriting, content creation, or marketing communications, preferably within the higher education industry.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of writing samples across various mediums and formats, demonstrating creativity, storytelling ability, and strategic thinking.
  • Thorough writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for crafting engaging and persuasive content.
  • Solid understanding of branding principles, messaging strategies, and audience segmentation, with the ability to tailor content to different target audiences and channels.
  • Proficiency in research methodologies, including the ability to gather and synthesize information from multiple sources to support content development and messaging strategies.
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively within a team environment and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality and meeting client expectations.
