As our Activities Lead, you’ll be at the heart of building a vibrant, engaging and inclusive environment for our residents.
Nestled in the heart of Borehamwood, Meadowhill Care Home combines modern design with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Boasting 75 private rooms and luxurious communal spaces, Meadowhill is tailored to meet the unique needs of residents in a safe and peaceful environment.

About the role:
- Develop and coordinate a diverse activities schedule, including social, physical and cognitive activities
- Engage with residents to understand their interests and create activities that reflect their individuality
- Organise events such as arts and crafts, fitness sessions, musical performances and outings
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure activities align with residents’ care plans
- Lead and inspire a small team of activity coordinators
- Maintain budgets and ensure activities comply with health and safety standards
About you:
- Previous experience working in the care sector
- A creative and enthusiastic personality with experience in planning and leading activities, ideally in a care or community setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with residents of all backgrounds
- Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail
- A passion for making a positive impact and making a difference
