This is an opportunity to support young people through a positive educational journey, expanding their skills and preparing them for life beyond education. The curriculum is designed to be broad, engaging, and accessible, with full SEN support, qualifications up to GCSE and Level 2, and a strong focus on enrichment and real-world learning.
What you'll be doing:
- Planning and delivering inspiring and differentiated lessons in Art
- Supporting students with SEN needs in collaboration with learning assistants
- Assessing progress and preparing learners for functional skills or qualifications
- Engaging in wider curriculum activities, events, and community involvement
- Promoting wellbeing, resilience, and employability
What we're looking for:
- Teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS/PGCE or relevant experience)
- Experience in delivering Art at secondary or post-16 level
- Passion for supporting vulnerable young people to achieve their goals
- Flexibility, empathy, and a proactive, team-oriented approach
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
