We’re preparing for growth and hiring passionate people to help shape the future of Rosslyn. Established in 2018, Rosslyn is a collection of award-winning, high-volume specialty coffee shops located in the City of London. We bring together all the attention to detail and high standards of the great Australian Café, combined with all the warmth and hospitality of the great Irish pub!
At Rosslyn, we believe in value-based hiring—skills can be taught, but care and connection comes from within. We’re building a team driven by delivering hospitality with purpose, passion, and empathy, creating impact for each other, our guests, and our community. If you take pride in your work, we’d love to hear from you.
At the heart of it all, what we do is simple… “we are nice to people, and we make nice coffee.” If you’re excited by what we’re all about, we are welcoming applications to the below roles:
- Keep things running smoothly in the shop.
- Uphold our specialty coffee standards—or bring the drive and work ethic to master them.
- Create meaningful connections, recognising how hospitality and a great cup of coffee can positively change someone’s day.
- Contribute to a welcoming space, making guests feel at home and eager to return.
- Be a true team player, supporting inclusivity and building relationships based on integrity and trust.
- Stay knowledgeable, confidently answering guest questions on our coffee and retail offerings.
- Maintain a calm and focused approach, always striving to create meaningful value through your work.
As a Barista, your role is all about creating exceptional guest experiences through care, connection, and consistency. We lead from the floor, support one another, and hold ourselves to high standards. Our values come first—skills can be taught, but genuine hospitality is what sets us apart.
With no late nights, a 40-hour workweek, and shops open Monday to Saturday, we’re proud to offer balance alongside a meaningful career. Our shops operate Monday to Friday (06:00–18:00) and Saturdays at Queen Victoria Street (07:30–17:00).
Rosslyn is a London Living Wage Employer, and we are proud to have received the Living Wage Champion Award in 2023. We firmly believe that taking care of our team allows them to take better care of our guests.
Across all roles we pay above the current London Living Wage - more detail is on our careers page.
- Work-life balance: Evenings off, 40-hour workweek, shifts under 10 hours.
- Training & Development: Skillset training with our Head of Coffee at Origin Coffee Roasters within your first four weeks.
- Coffee Discounts: 50% off house coffee bags, 30% off guest coffees.
- Annual Leave: 28 days per calendar year (for full-time team members).
