Due to the continuing success of Andertons Music Co, we are currently looking to add an additional high-calibre Pro-Audio Sales Consultant to work at our Guildford Sales Office as a member of our Sales and Service team, who are fully focussed on delivering pre and post-sale advice to our online/remote customers. We are looking for someone who understands our customers and can help them find the perfect solution to their needs.
You must possess excellent product and brand knowledge of equipment across the range of Pro-Audio Dept encompassing recording equipment, PA, keyboards, synths and digital pianos. You will need a desire to consistently deliver a high standard of customer service. To be fully effective in this role, you will also need to demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills.
Key Tasks- Knowledge of the Pro-Audio main brands.
- Knowledge of the construction and features of products.
- Able to explain the differences between the brands and products and help our customers by giving great independent advice relevant to the customer’s requirements.
- Able to identify the features and benefits that are relevant to the customer over the phone and via email.
- The ability to absorb new information readily and easily and be able to pass this information on to others.
- Customer service experience, ideally in a retail environment or similar or within the music equipment sector.
- The communication skills to converse, build relationships and interact with individuals, customers, and staff at all levels.
- The ability to react to challenges while remaining calm.
- The confidence and organisational skills to control all aspects of a busy sales environment.
- Previous experience in retail sales or similar environments preferred.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Computer literate (especially MS Outlook and Excel).
Contract Type: Full Time
Working Hours: 9am - 6pm Monday to Saturday, 10.45am - 5pm, Sunday. 5 day working week with day off in week and one weekend day off.
