- Have experience of installing and/or customizing mainframe CICS software in large data sharing environments.
- Have experience with CICS plex and CICS Explorer to manage CICS systems.
- Installing and/or customizing software products Mainframe DB2 and/or data replication product suite.
- Establishment of policies and procedures pertaining to database management, disaster recovery, security, maintenance and utilization.
- Analyzing new versions of DB2 for functionality that can improve systems performance and reduce cost.
- Perform performance data collection, analysis, and tuning of DB2 systems.
- Executes project and internal initiative responsibilities as assigned or delegated.
- Participate in incident and problem management activities related to application and DB2.
- Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence.
- Provide 24x7 on-call support.
