WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Emergency Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Falmouth, MA.
Job Function
- Night Shift. 3x12: 7pm - 7am.
- Manage care for adult and pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening conditions that require complex assessment, high-intensity therapies, and interventions.
- Provide support, education, and comfort to patients and their families throughout their emergency room experience.
- Maintain close communication with all members of the healthcare team and independently recognize the need for early intervention.
- Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing.
- Perform medical procedures including IV insertion, intubation, medication administration, blood draws, and other essential interventions.
Job Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current RN license for the state of Massachusetts.
- 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience is required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
