ING is looking for a Senior PCM Sales professional focusing on Financial Sponsors within Financial Institutions/Wholesale Banking.
Focus Area: The NBFI PCM (Non-Bank FI Payments and Cash Management) team focuses on asset managers, insurance companies, pension funds, PSPs, and financial sponsors.
Primary Objective: Originate new cash management mandates within the Financial Sponsors portfolio. Identify prospect clients and grow the PCM business with existing clients. Offer new services/products at HoldCo and fund level and facilitate at Opco level. Serve as the primary contact for PCM topics and internal stakeholders.
Work Environment: International team with hubs in Amsterdam and Brussels. Deliver PCM products and services globally to FI clients. Collaborate with Product Management, Compliance, FI relationship management, and local PCM and FI colleagues.
Your Profile:
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in economics, accounting, mathematics, finance, or related field. Advanced degree or CFA professional qualification is a plus.
Skills & Experience: 10+ years in the Financial Industry or comparable international environment. Knowledge of Private Equity/Fund business. Strong interpersonal skills. Understanding of payment products. Technical/operational knowledge of payments and cash management. Analytical approach to client needs and compliance. Ability to manage client relationships at various levels (CEO, CFO, Treasury, Network Management).
Key Responsibilities: Deliver revenue and new business pipeline for the assigned portfolio. Research client's business model. Negotiate cash management solutions and pricing agreements. Manage pre-lead, pitching, and proposal process. Ensure alignment in client selection and growth strategies. Propose new product development based on client needs. Enhance visibility of ING franchise through marketing.
