Apprenticeships play an important role in our business, and provide people who may not have gone to university with another route into a challenging and rewarding career with HSBC.

We’ve found that Apprenticeship opportunities are one of the very best ways to equip people with the skills they need to succeed.

Our UK Apprenticeship programmes allow you to combine work and study, with the opportunity to gain a formal qualification ranging from Foundation through to Degree level.

These opportunities all provide an alternative to the classical A-level and university pathways; with a range of different learning methods designed to fit your way of learning such as workplace teaching, classroom-based learning, online courses, on-the-job training, and independent study.

We are looking for people with drive and aspiration, those who think, see, and do things differently and who can represent and relate to our diverse global customer base. We employ, develop, and promote employees based on merit and provide a supportive and inclusive working environment.

We offer two types of apprenticeships in the UK: Foundation Apprenticeships (Modern Apprenticeships in Scotland) and Degree Apprenticeships.
