As part of Genie Ventures, Genie Shopping is looking for our next Account Manager to bring bigger and better results to our existing accounts.
As an Account Manager, you will deliver commercial excellence to clients by providing insights, building strong relationships and ensuring they are optimised towards the best commercial position for our campaigns running through the affiliate channel.
You will join the Partnerships team in a collaborative, remote environment where weβre striving to be one of the highest performing teams in performance marketing. Over the last 12 months, Genie Shopping has entered a new phase of growth, generating over Β£500 million in sales, and growing 100% YoY in terms of Gross Profit.
The team is remotely based but has fluidity in meeting in-person for client meetings, industry events, strategy days and team socials. There are requirements to travel to Cambridge once a month, with London (or other UK locations) once a month on average.
- Account Management & Commercial Excellence
- Be the assigned point of contact at Genie Shopping for assigned accounts
- Ensure assigned accounts are optimised towards the best commercial position
- Deal with internal and external commercial tasks for assigned accounts
- Lead point of contact in client communications for assigned accounts
- Retain & grow assigned account relationships with regular contact and communication
- Proactively & independently identify opportunities to increase GP on assigned accounts supporting the growth of GP
- Create and deliver the presentation of insights and commercial opportunities to assigned accounts both in-person or online
- Performance Management & Reporting
- Collaborate with the Paid Media team to identify opportunities for assigned account growth
- Ownership to track and report on assigned account progress internally, ensuring key assigned accounts performance KPIs are being hit
- Maintain accurate records of client communications and activities in CRM
Help support the wider Partnerships team in key periods with client response support via support channel:
- Help attend and deliver industry events
- Support in strategic projects and initiatives with large clients
- Play a key role in cross-team projects aimed at achieving Genie Shopping OKRs
- Support and mentor other team members
Requirements:
- 2-3 years experience in the digital e-commerce industry (affiliate, publisher, agency or network or SAAS)
- Experience in digital marketing & e-commerce performance metrics and KPIs
- Experience in managing client communication and tasks in a structured way (within a CRM preferable)
- Experience in developing client partnerships, pitching commercial ideas, forecasts and initiatives
- Experience in Affiliate Marketing Networks
- Experience in working with large e-commerce clients and technical stakeholders
- Experience in using business intelligence dashboards to discover and explain insights
- Experience in marketing dashboards to discover and explain insights
- Experience in succeeding in a remote working environment
- Strong Excel/Spreadsheet skills
- Knowledge of CRM (ideally Salesforce)
