We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a talented and motivated eCommerce Content Executive to join our dynamic marketing team, hitting the ground running with e-commerce and product marketing experience in a homeware / related category.
About the eCommerce Content Executive position: This role is responsible for ensuring our online product content execution is best in class across Amazon and other key marketplaces. It's not a digital/social media role – we're looking for an e-comm content specialist to be the lynchpin between our e-comm and brand teams, driving excellent execution on e-comm marketplaces and product listings. Playing a crucial role in enhancing our online / e-comm presence, you will lead the team to curate, optimise and execute e-comm product listings across marketplaces including Amazon A+ Content, and ensure online product content is launched right first time, on time.
Working closely with our e-comm / marketplace teams as well as brand and graphics, you will need to have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, to ensure our diverse range of product offerings are showcased effectively and consistently across all online retail channels and marketplace platforms. This is a fast-paced ecommerce project management role with an online marketing and product optimisation underpinning. Passionate about e-commerce and online retail, with your online (.com) retail experience and marketplace knowledge you will have a clear view of 'what good looks like' for online product imagery, product descriptions and marketplace copy.
With a relentless focus on optimisation and best practice for product listings, you will work with e-comm, brand and graphics to ensure that this is project-managed and brought to life effectively, across internal and external retail platforms and marketplace channels.
What Experience will you need?
- Exceptional project management skills with ecommerce/online retail focus
- Product listing experience across major marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, etc.)
- Desire to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, you will want to leave your mark and make a difference.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritise, with excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail and proof-reading skills for product content.
- A natural eye for compelling online product marketing communication and marketplace optimisation; able to distinguish what makes the difference between good and outstanding product visuals and product copy.
- Instinctive understanding of brand guidelines, able to brief, assess and deliver creative and copy in a brand tone of voice, that delivers in an online retail environment and converts on marketplace platforms.
- Understanding of SEO best practices for product listings would be an advantage.
- A relentless curiosity and motivation to stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and platform updates related to e-commerce content management and marketplace optimisation.
