Join Our Dedicated Telecare Team – Make a Real Difference Every Night
Are you passionate about helping others and making a positive impact in your community? We’re looking for compassionate and responsive individuals to join our Telecare Service team, providing vital support to customers in their own homes across the city.
Position: Telecare Responder (Night Shifts)
Contract: Initial 6-month contract (with potential for extension)
Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 4 nights on / 4 nights off
Shift Times: 8:45 PM – 7:30 AM
Location: City-wide coverage (company vehicle provided while on duty)
About the Role
As a valued member of our overnight Telecare team, you’ll respond to a variety of alerts and activations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable individuals. This is a hands-on, community-focused role where no two nights are the same.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to alarm activations triggered by customers or assistive technology devices
- Providing practical support with mobility, personal care, and fall recovery
- Liaising with ambulance crews to assist during emergency situations
- Reacting to various assistive alerts, such as property exit sensors, smoke alarms, and pressure mats
Comprehensive training and induction will be provided to ensure you’re fully prepared and supported in your role.
What We’re Looking For

- Confident working independently during overnight hours
- Comfortable providing hands-on personal care when needed
- Flexible and responsive to a wide range of situations
Essential Requirements:
- A full UK MANUAL driving licence
- Willingness to work a consistent night shift rota
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
