What You'll Be Doing:
- Trailer door fabrication, refurbishment/raise/lower modifications
- Structural/chassis repair modification
- Welding using ARC/MIG/TIG
- Alloy welding
- Roller shutter replacement/repair/balance and retention
- General running repairs IE wings/curtain repairs
- Fabrication
- Carrying out running and damage repairs to various trailer types
- Performing all welding work with the help of forming and cutting equipment
- Working with fitters to assist in the fabrication or welding of multi component parts
- Ensuring all compliance details are completed accurately and timely
- Undertaking all required training as deemed necessary by the Company
- Providing high customer service levels whilst working to specified deadlines
- Ensuring ‘good housekeeping’ in and around workstations
- Adhering to the Company's H&S policies and procedures
- Highlighting all potential business commercial opportunities to Managers
Who We're Looking For:
- Time served fabricator/welder
- Experience in MIG welding on thin gauge metal
- Ability to understand welding symbols and diagrams
- Ability to perform basic and advanced metal fabrication
- Strong attention to detail
- High level of enthusiasm & good communication skills
- Basic knowledge of computers and ability to complete relevant written documentation
- Customer and team centric mindset with a high level of professionalism
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
- Initiative to work autonomously where required
