This new position will suit an experienced Barista that has a passion for coffee culture. Working as a creative alongside our UK Foodservice sales team and supporting our customers with compelling beverage menu ideas that will drive the demand for our Davinci Gourmet beverage brand.

The position will sit within the Kerry Europe Foodservice Culinary team and is a customer facing role. Responsible for the development of hot and cold beverage menu applications using our Davinci Gourmet brand within the regional chains and Independent Coffee channels UK&I. The role requires a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the customer's business model and their needs, our Davinci Gourmet brand and technology portfolio. The role will work closely with the RD&A and marketing teams to deliver winning marketing campaigns, strategic product presentations and menu applications as a mechanism to influence customers' decisions to buy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working with the UK&I commercial team targeting strategic growth customers and by creating a demand for the Davinci Gourmet brand using coffee and menu development expertise.
  • Input into our proactive innovation strategy with application insights and support the development of menu applications.
  • Input into the Davinci Gourmet brand renovation, including benchmarking and sensory analysis.
  • Input into brand marketing campaigns that can be tailored for individual customers demonstrating current menu trends aligned to our brands.
  • Develop strong strategic relationships with key customer roles R&D, operations, and Baristas.

Competencies:

  • Will bring a Barista led creative and innovative view to the team, building on knowledge and experience of working within the sector.
  • Will have a proactive approach to building customer engagement.
  • Will be entrepreneurial, seeking opportunities for menu development and growth.
  • Will build strong relationships internally and externally to support overall purpose of the role.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the UK&I, travel will be 70%.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Accredited Culinary Arts, food and beverage Certification or equivalent.
  • Experience in food and beverage development or menu development ideally with the foodservice market.
  • 5 years foodservice sector or food and beverage industry experience.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and organisation skills.
  • Sales or customer management experience.
  • Third level degree or equivalent industry training.
  • Driving Licence.
