We have team members working in Palmerston North, Christchurch and Ashburton across various functions, including manufacturing and distribution, with our commercial head office based in Auckland. About the role We are on the lookout for our next superstar People and Performance (P&P) Advisor to join us in our Palmerston North office. Reporting to our P&P Manager, you’ll be a trusted advisor to our people leaders, providing expert guidance on various people matters whilst ensuring effective people strategies, plans and objectives are adopted that build operational capability and fulfil longer term strategic goals. This is a true generalist role, so you’ll play an active role across the full employee life cycle, and you’ll experience exciting project work that many others won’t, focusing in on areas such as leadership capability, well-being initiatives, employment branding, engagement, recognition, building people capability, talent retention, process simplification/efficiency and so much more! You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by researching and implementing best practices to deliver unified people and performance solutions. Best of all, your mahi will also make a real difference in people’s lives. What You’ll Bring to the Table: You’ve got at least 3 years under your belt in an HR/People and Performance role, and you have a proven track record to show for it. A strong understanding of core People and Performance processes, including performance management, talent management and ER, , along with understanding how these processes impact business performance. You’re well-versed in New Zealand employment legislation and can navigate this with ease. You can analyze information from various sources, identify issues, and recommend effective solutions. You’ve managed projects through their full life cycle and know how to keep things on track. You excel at managing relationships and maintaining credibility with key stakeholders. Your written and verbal communication skills are top-notch, and you understand the importance of clear communication in employment relationships. Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and various technology systems.
