Having appointed 4 Directors this year, my client is now seeking a Senior Consultant to join their team, continuing their investment in hiring top talent! It is a truly exciting time to be joining this growing agency.
My client has a politically driven focus, with many team members having backgrounds in Westminster or politics. They work with clients who have political aims and focus on public opinion and insight research. They are involved in connecting clients with government officials and influencing policy decisions. They focus on public affairs and insights work, including reports like the "Talking to the Nation" report, which examines media consumption trends. The agency is sector agnostic, working with clients ranging from education to construction, trading platforms, vaping, and a betting client. Based in Central London, they operate a hybrid working policy.
Salary: £45,000 - c£65,000+. Plus an annual bonus and new business commission.
The ideal candidate:
- 5+ years’ experience working in a public affairs or communications consultancy, or in a political and media environment.
- Strong consultancy background, preferably with parliamentary process understanding and ability to translate complex policy information into accessible news stories.
- Ability to translate complex political mechanisms for clients and track legislation effectively.
- Crisis handling and reputation management a bonus skill, particularly in translating complex policy matters into accessible news stories for challenging client narratives.
- Exceptionally organised, able to manage multiple tasks without needing reminders, and have a strong client manner.
