Role Overview
Our client is seeking a driven and commercially minded Motorsport Account Executive to join their London-based team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing and developing a portfolio of motorsport clients - ranging from race teams and event organisers to drivers and sponsors - while contributing to the continued growth of the book through both servicing and new business activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with a broad range of motorsport clients, including teams, circuits, and stakeholders across various disciplines.
- Broking & Policy Placement: Prepare market submissions, negotiate with underwriters, and place tailored insurance programmes; such as on-track liability, event cancellation, personal accident, and equipment cover.
- Technical Support: Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of slips, endorsements, certificates, and all client documentation.
- Underwriter Engagement: Liaise with Lloyd’s and company market underwriters, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products, pricing, and market appetite relevant to motorsport risks.
- Event Attendance: Represent the firm at motorsport events and industry gatherings to support client engagement and business development.
Key Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience within the Lloyd’s of London insurance market, preferably in a client-facing or broking role.
- A solid understanding of commercial insurance products relevant to motorsport.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client accounts and deliver high-quality service.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- High attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
