My client is a discreetly influential technology company whose communication systems are relied upon across global industries, from public safety to utilities. They are now seeking an RF Team Lead to guide their R&D team while remaining hands-on with cutting-edge RF design. You’ll drive technical excellence, mentor engineers, and play a vital role in next-gen product development.

Main duties:

  • Lead and support a team of RF Design Engineers
  • Allocate resources and define project priorities
  • Drive RF subsystem development across full product lifecycle
  • Liaise with software, baseband, and audio teams to deliver integrated solutions
  • Conduct design reviews, troubleshoot issues, and support regulatory approvals

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field
  • Strong RF design experience in Tx/Rx architectures, power amplifiers, or antenna systems
  • Hands-on knowledge of simulation tools (ADS, CST, etc.) and test environments (anechoic chambers, screen rooms, etc.)
  • Proven leadership/mentoring experience within an engineering team
  • Strong understanding of LTE, TETRA, or GSM systems

Bonus:

  • Experience in the critical communications industry
  • Knowledge of EMC/EMI compliance and regulatory standards
  • Familiarity with broadband or advanced RF technologies (MIMO, beamforming)
