We are partnering with an award-winning management consultancy specialising in infrastructure that is expanding its North of England Advisory team and is looking for an Asset Management Consultant to support the delivery of high-impact, future-focused projects across the transport, water, and energy sectors.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Deliver consulting assignments that help asset owners improve performance, reduce risk, and enhance long-term value.
- Work on asset lifecycle modelling, capital investment strategy, risk and cost optimisation, and operational improvements.
- Collaborate with senior consultants and cross-functional teams to develop and deliver solutions tailored to client needs.
- Support proposal development and business growth through client relationship building and strategic insight.
- Interpret complex asset data to identify trends, build models, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Engage directly with stakeholders - both internal and external - to align strategies, manage delivery, and support change.
Experience:
- An engineering or technical degree or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in asset management within transport, water, or energy infrastructure - ideally in a consulting or advisory capacity.
- Experience working within or alongside regulated infrastructure clients or government agencies.
- Ability to analyse asset data and draw insights that inform business or operational strategy.
- Familiarity with asset lifecycle modelling, risk and cost analysis, or capital investment planning.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to liaise with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Project delivery experience including elements of planning, risk management, and budget oversight.
- Background in writing business proposals and contributing to bids or business development activities.

This is a hybrid role involving a mix of office, home, and client-site working. The team operates across several locations including: Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Sheffield, and York. Candidates living in or near any of these regions are encouraged to apply.
