Due to ongoing growth, they're now looking to hire a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS, minimum 6 months PQE preferred or Senior Building Surveyor nearing APC completion) to join a friendly, dynamic and ambitious team.
Role OverviewYou'll be delivering a full suite of professional and project-based Building Surveying services, including:
- Contract Administration (project values up to £3.5m)
- Insurance Reinstatement Projects
- Defect Diagnosis, Condition & Planned Maintenance Surveys
- Design & Specification of Works
- Party Wall Matters & Licence to Alter
- Pre-Acquisition Surveys & RCAs
- Employer's Agent & Project Management Roles
You'll manage your own projects, act as a key client contact, and support junior surveyors with their APC progression - alongside contributing to the growth of the business.
What They're Looking For- MRICS (min. 6 months post-qualified preferred) or alternatively a Senior Building Surveyor nearing APC completion
- Broad experience across both professional services and project work
- Strong communication skills and client management experience
- Comfortable managing multiple projects independently
- Passionate about high standards and collaborative working
- Residential experience advantageous (not essential)
- Full driving licence is helpful but not essential
- Good IT skills - proficiency in MS Office a must, CAD helpful
- Salary up to £65,000 (depending on experience)
