Our client is a top 50 firm, based in the heart of London. The firm's key specialisms include music and media, football players and managers, football clubs, horse trainers, greyhound racing and property, amongst others. Accounts Assistant Manager responsibilities include:

  • Preparing financial statements for Charities and overseeing submissions to the Charities Commission
  • Preparing financial statements for Pension Schemes and liaising with pension scheme administrators
  • Preparing financial statements and Corporation Tax returns for clients
  • Supporting managers in reviewing jobs and ensuring quality control
  • Assisting with financial analysis to aid in decision-making processes
  • Providing support to the wider accounts team, particularly in relation to financial statements preparation from trial balance
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns accurately and on time
  • Processing payroll for clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Performing ad hoc bookkeeping tasks as required

As an Accounts Assistant Manager, you will:

  • Be ACA or ACCA Qualified
  • Have over 18 months’ post-qualified experience of reviewing accounts preparation assignments
  • Be the first point of contact for a portfolio of accounts clients
  • Demonstrate the ability to supervise and develop a team of staff
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of, or passion for, the charities and pensions sector
