The Apprentice Customer Service Retailer coordinates parts sales to ensure that customers can always access the parts they require when needed. This involves using the company's computer system to log stock movements and produce orders, liaising with colleagues, developing skills to improve parts sales performance, and dealing with enquiries from both trade and retail customers.

Duties will include:

  • Using systems, equipment, and technology to meet customer needs
  • Applying questioning skills, including listening and responding to build rapport

  • Knowing the targets and goals to achieve

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will gain a Level 2 Retailer Standards qualification.

No formal qualifications are required, but you must be literate and numerate. You should have a desire to become a first-rate Parts Retailer and a thirst for knowledge, as modern logistic support processes and systems are highly complex.

With mentoring, support, and monitoring during work, along with residential training, you will gain the knowledge and skills needed to achieve the qualification while working with highly skilled professionals. Please note: Off-the-job training is residential, involving 3 residential blocks and fortnightly 1-1 training. All travel and accommodation costs are covered by the employer.
