Key Responsibilities:
- Construction and maintenance of chemical dosing units for water treatment, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
- Expert installation of cable rack & tray, trunking, containment, and Unistrut systems.
- Comprehensive wiring tasks, adhering to the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimise electrical systems for the water treatment industry.
- Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance to ensure operational excellence and safety.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of electrical systems and modifications.
- Adherence to industry standards and regulations, ensuring all work is compliant with current legislation.
- Engagement in team meetings and contribution to the improvement of processes and services.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Site based with locations in and around the United Kingdom.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician, with a strong background in electrical engineering within relevant sectors.
- EUSR certificates are desirable, though not essential as training and course can be provided.
- NVQ or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Course (2382-22) certification.
- Demonstrable ability to install and maintain complex electrical systems and components.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and compliance requirements.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
