This is a contract role for a civils supervisor and is expected to last through the Summer of 2025 as a minimum. It's a telecoms network project with a focus on reinstatement and compliance for remedial works.
Key requirements:
- Experience working on the Openreach network / PIA.
- Valid SA001 and SA002 certifications (essential).
- NRSWA supervisor ticket (essential).
- Prior experience in a rural delivery environment.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Ensuring that works are carried out and completed within the limitations of the permit.
- Experienced in carrying out inspections/auditing field operatives in safety procedures, specification and legislative compliance and performance.
- Lead an effective team, ensuring that resources are fully utilised and any contact demand is effectively covered.
- Monitor individual employee and contractor performance on an ongoing basis.
- Proactively isolate and identify areas of improvement, driving resolution.
- Report daily site progress, defects and site issues using workflow management tools and processes.
This is an on patch role, Monday from 8am through Friday afternoon until 4pm. Accommodation will be covered Monday night through Thursday night, but we are looking for people that live within realistic commuting range. You will need your own vehicle and cover your own petrol from the day rate. The role has been deemed outside IR35, so you would be working on a LTD company basis.
