We are looking for an Associate Mechanical Design Engineer to join a well-established engineering Consultancy in Oxford, who have an excellent benefits system, including a 9-day fortnight! The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of education, healthcare, defence and commercial projects whilst leading an experienced team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to support future opportunities.
- Lead large-scale projects, serving as the main client contact and coordinating all disciplines.
- Define project briefs, ensure profitable delivery, and manage quality and risk.
- Oversee and prioritise team workload, effectively delegating and reviewing work.
- Support team development through mentoring and building high-performing teams.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a Principal or Associate Mechanical Engineer delivering complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical services, including HVAC systems.
- Skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, and familiar with relevant British Standards.
- Effective communicator with experience in multidisciplinary, consultancy environments.
