Associate Mechanical Design Engineer

Attention all Associate Mechanical Design Engineers!

We are looking for an Associate Mechanical Design Engineer to join a well-established engineering Consultancy in Oxford, who have an excellent benefits system, including a 9-day fortnight!

The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of education, healthcare, defence and commercial projects whilst leading an experienced team.

Key Responsibilities:

-Build and maintain strong client relationships to support future opportunities.

-Lead large-scale projects, serving as the main client contact and coordinating all disciplines.

-Define project briefs, ensure profitable delivery, and manage quality and risk.

-Oversee and prioritise team workload, effectively delegating and reviewing work.

-Support team development through mentoring and building high-performing teams.

What we are looking for:

-Proven experience as a Principal or Associate Mechanical Engineer delivering complex projects.

-Strong knowledge of mechanical services, including HVAC systems.

-Skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, and familiar with relevant British Standards.

-Effective communicator with experience in multidisciplinary, consultancy environments.
