My client, a leading law firm, is seeking to recruit an experienced Property Paralegal who is diligent, self-motivated and a fast learner. The successful candidate will be working directly with a Partner. They will ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar role and be able to hit the ground running with a variety of property matters both residential and commercial.
They must have technical knowledge commensurate to their level of experience as well as a pro-active approach to risk management, a willingness to learn and a good knowledge of property transactions. Client care is a priority of my client, and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate when they have gone over and above to provide a top-quality service to the client. They will be keen to progress and grow within the department. Relevant professional training will be provided and career development opportunities available to the right candidate.
Essential Experience- Experience working as a Paralegal (or similar) in property including:
- Freehold and Leasehold sales and purchases.
- Re-Mortgages and re-finances including properties in companies.
- Buy to Let (including Company) purchases and re-finances.
- Registration including Companies House and Land Registry.
- Drafting and Filing of SDLT Returns.
- Ordering usual searches.
- Experience in drafting reports on title, reports on lease and reports on mortgage.
- Raising additional enquiries and dealing with replies to pre-contract enquiries.
- Experience in drafting commercial leases and ancillary documents.
- Experience in dealing with preparing CPSE replies.
- Experience in dealing with preparation of contract packages and data rooms.
