GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a highly successful and well-known manufacturing business located in Pershore. We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent contract.
This position is working Monday - Friday 08:00am - 16:30pm offering a salary of up to £35,000.
The successful Electrical Engineer will be wiring and testing machinery including assembly of electrical enclosures, and pneumatic assembly. The ideal candidate will also have experience with PLC programming.
To be considered it is essential that you can demonstrate proven electrical experience and the ability to work to a high level of accuracy.
Electrical Engineer main duties:- Follow detailed schematics/drawings, capturing any amendments for the design team
- Wiring machinery panel/control systems, labelling all components in accordance to drawings
- Electrical testing of electrical/electronic/pneumatic parts and equipment
- Ability to create and amend electrical drawing AutoCAD/Draftsight (Ideal)
- Adhere stringently to quality control methods, ISO9001 accreditation & 6S standards
- Installing Machine Programs
- Creating and Amending PLC programs (Ideal)
- Testing machinery, identifying issues and communicating issues to production manager
- Collaborate with production team to solve manufacturing issues and increase production efficiency.
- Effectively balance workload to adhere to project deadlines
- It is essential you have proven electrical experience
- A team player, flexible with a can-do attitude
- Experience of working in a similar field with high and low voltage control systems
- Strong problem solver skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Experience creating and amending PLC Programs is desirable
