This job is an opportunity available at our Ipswich office for someone with significant previous Private Client Tax experience, to join our team as a Senior Manager. This full-time role can be combined with an element of home-working under the firm’s agile working policy.

Our client portfolio ranges across the Private Client spectrum including high net worth individuals and families, business owners, partnerships, company directors, land and property owners, entrepreneurs, retirees, and family trusts and estates.
About the role
This is an interesting and varied role which provides scope for personal and career development. You will draw on your strong technical expertise to provide excellent front line client service, alongside supervising the work of more junior staff and assisting with their development. You will also be actively involved in business development activities.
Skills required:
- You should hold the CTA qualification (or be qualified by experience). Additional qualifications such as ICAEW, ACCA or STEP would be beneficial.
- Experience of successfully managing a portfolio of private clients alongside reviewing self-assessment tax returns completed by other staff.
- A solid background in all aspects of Personal Tax compliance work within a professional services environment is essential, including:
- Capital Gains Tax planning
- Remuneration planning
- IR35
- Trusts/IHT
- Property income
