NWH CA TH 01 Salary range Salary range £25,360 per annum, pro-rata Duration Duration Fixed Term until June 2026 Working hours Working hours 8 hours per week, part-time Location Location Thurso Closing Date Closing Date 12pm, Wednesday 18th June 2025 Position: We are seeking a Classroom Auxiliary – Pathway to College & Employment to be based at our Thurso campus. Responsibilities: The post holder will be responsible for working within the Learning Support team to provide ongoing support to learners with disabilities and or additional support needs on a 1-1 basis, including reader/scribe/support for assignments, assessments, and examinations necessary for learners. Qualifications, Experience and Skills: The suitable candidates will have an HNC level qualification or hold HNC units and be able to demonstrate having worked in a role where you can show empathy and understanding. The suitable candidates will have excellent communication and IT skills and be able to adapt their communication style/approach to support a variety of situations/student needs. A level of Gaelic ability would be advantageous to your application.
