Qualifications and training:
- Full registration with the UK General Dental Council
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- Entry on the GMC Specialist Register in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS)
- Attainment of Intercollegiate Specialty Fellowship in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (FRCS (OMFS)) or equivalent
- Successful completion of a SAC-approved 5-year training registrar program in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, or be within 6 months of completion and obtaining a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) or equivalent for other European Economic Area nationals
- Possession of a CCST in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery to be obtained before commencement of the role
