Job Overview
We are looking for ambitious candidates with a proven track record of delivering above-average growth and managing multi-million-pound budgets.
The Head of Growth Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing scalable marketing strategies that drive significant business growth. This role requires a blend of data-driven decision-making, creative marketing strategies, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, passionate about customer acquisition, and experienced in leading cross-functional teams to deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities
Growth Strategy Development
- Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive growth marketing strategy that supports business objectives and drives customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
- Identify new growth opportunities, optimize existing channels, and align marketing efforts with business goals.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep the growth strategy innovative and competitive.
Cross-Channel Marketing Execution
- Oversee and manage all growth marketing channels, including but not limited to digital advertising (e.g., paid search, paid social), email marketing, affiliate programs, referral programs, and partnerships.
- Implement and optimize A/B testing across marketing channels to continuously refine messaging, creative, and targeting for maximum ROI.
Customer Acquisition & Retention
- Focus on driving high-quality acquisition campaigns, improving customer acquisition costs (CAC), and increasing lifetime value (LTV).
- Lead retention and engagement campaigns to increase repeat customer rates and brand loyalty.
- Analyse customer segmentation, user behaviour, and conversion metrics to drive more effective campaigns.
Data Analysis, Reporting & Measurement
- Establish KPIs for growth marketing performance and track campaign performance, adjusting strategies based on data insights.
- Regularly report on growth metrics to the CEO, and other senior stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
- Utilise advanced measurement methodologies such as econometrics to provide a deeper understanding of channel performance.
- Conduct in-depth market and competitive analysis to identify trends, optimise marketing spend, and improve customer targeting.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor a growing team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and accountability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, and Data Analytics to align growth strategies with product development, sales funnels, and overall company objectives.
- Manage external agencies and vendors as needed to execute marketing strategies.
Budget Management
- Own and manage the growth marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources across different marketing channels.
- Continuously monitor and optimise the marketing spend to ensure the best possible ROI.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, or performance marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of scaling growth in a fast-paced environment (preferably in retail eCommerce).
- Experience of expanding into international markets, specifically the US is desirable
- Hands-on experience managing multi-channel campaigns and optimising them for maximum ROI.
- Strong knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Power Bi,) and marketing platforms (Google, Meta, Awin etc)
- Expert in the latest digital marketing techniques, trends and developments across, but not limited to, Google, Meta, TikTok, Programmatic, Affiliates, Measurement, Privacy.
Skills:
- Strong leadership, management, and team-building skills.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and present insights to senior stakeholders.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-moving environment.
- Expertise in CRM tools, lead nurturing, and lifecycle marketing.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
