Senior Controller / Financial Controller (m/w/d)

ZRG are exclusively engaged on a 6-month fixed term contract for a fast-growing founder led international retail business. The role would suit someone who has worked as a technical Group Financial Controller before and who is used to a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. The appointed candidate will be responsible for ensuring the sound financial control environment across the business, ensuring high quality and accurate accounting and the continued improvement of process and control environment as the business continues to grow and evolve. Our client is seeking a people orientated team leader who can continue to educate and coach the team on what good looks like from a finance perspective. Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA / ACA or equivalent). Strong technical accounting skills High levels of emotional intelligence. Commercial acumen – the ability to make commercial decisions that support employees and the business alike Project management – the ability to effectively manage ad hoc projects and annual processes Resilience – the ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced and busy retail environment coupled with the ability to re-organise and re-prioritise to react to ad-hoc projects and issues, working with colleagues across the business.
