Responsibilities of a Security Operations Consultant Support the growth of SOC capabilities for clients Implement and manage security tools within the SOC environment, considering both immediate needs and long-term strategic plans Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate threat intelligence feeds, playbooks, and response workflows into SOC operations Conduct SOC readiness assessments, identify gaps, and propose next steps Requirements of a Security Operations Consultant Must have active SC clearance 3+ years of experience in Cyber Security Operations roles Solid understanding of SOC best practices and relevant regulations Experience deploying, configuring, and managing security tools within SOC environments (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, etc.) Excellent verbal and written communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
