Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer focusing on routing, switching, Cisco WiFi
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., QoS, BGP, OSPF, HSRP, 802.11, 802.1x, IPSEC)
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools including Cisco ThousandEyes
  • Primarily a network engineer role with core competency of Routing & Switching
  • Comfortable working on CISCO and Checkpoint firewalls
  • Experience working closely with the UC team to help set up MS Teams and Cisco telephony systems, manage QoS issues, circuit capacity planning, etc. from a network perspective
  • Experience with implementing Cisco ThousandEyes, with the ability to architect and implement it
  • Knowledge of Cisco SD-WAN, SD-Access, Catalysts Center and ISE is a plus
  • Network firewall policy administration is a plus
  • Hands-on experience of automation/scripting and configuration management tools such as Ansible
  • University degree in Computer Science or a related subject
  • Professional certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) is preferred
  • Experience with Cisco: switches, routers, firewalls, Catalyst Center, ISE, WiFi
