Job Description
The In‑House Conveyancer will be:
- Preparing contract packs, handling enquiries and completion statements
- Managing purchases of part‑exchange homes and resales
- Registering part‑exchange purchases and handling Land Registry formalities
- Liaising with internal sales teams to track progress and achieve exchanges
- Supervising junior/paralegal staff as required
- Acting on instructions from internal clients and sales team
The Successful Applicant
The In‑House Conveyancer should be:
- A solicitor or paralegal with over 1 year of conveyancing experience from private practice or in-house
- Skilled in full transaction management (plot sales + part‑exchange)
- Proficient in Land Registry, stamp duty, and completion processes
- Effective communicator with internal teams and external providers
- Committed to personal development and continuous improvement
